Bad News for Defoe
Famous English Premier League player Jermain Defoe has been officially pulled out of this year’s football season because of his extensive injuries due to an unfortunate accident during the European qualifying tournament for football. According to medical experts, Defoe has suffered from severely torn ligaments in the ankles. Because of this, he will not be able to play for the English premier league this season.
According to the official statement, the doctor advised the patient to have complete rest this season for three months after the required surgery on his ankles. This is why the management decided to pull him out of the game. At first they thought that Defoe would be able to get out of the hospital in just a few weeks but as it turns out, he still required surgery.
But despite this, the league is still optimistic about their chances of winning the European games because of the superb set of players that they still have lined up. The banishment assures all the fans that they would still have the opportunity to watch the best games they can ever watch on various sports channels around the world.
This is really bad news not only for Defoe but also for other players like central defender Michael Dawson who also experienced the same type of injury on his knees. Extreme care is truly needed when the person of playing a contact sport such as football. If they are not careful they might get injured as well.
